Hey people!
How you doin?
The last two days were so hectic and fun, not to mention tiring! I'm chillaxing at Cheezbox now, trying to figure out on what to type and update this lonely blog of mine. Haven't really been telling people about it. NVM.
So, last Friday 9th, i bought a Sony Cybershot camera for the trip to Thailand and to take pictures for my blog. So you wouldn't get bored of just reading bulls**t and crappy English. Haha.
Speaking of which, i finally got something to share with you people. This is gonna be a long one but hey, just enjoy. Updating starts now:
On the 9th (Friday), besides buying a new camera the last minute, me and my friend Misse, went to Charcoal to attend the celebration dinner party that we organized in regards to all our hard work and extravagant performance during our company's Sports Olympics Dinner night. Too bad i don't have pictures to share with you guys. But it's okay as it was kinda confidential.
All in all, i had a ball.
Now, moving on to a closer date, the last two days (the day after the 9th) was also kinda enjoyable as i came in contact with my fencing friends after being too busy with my other life (which is work, work, work). I started with Ka Jay texting me about this fencing tourney in regards to His Majesty's birthday. She asked me if i was available to participate. Since i was, why not?
The tourney began on Saturday and i was still in bed. Thank goodness my match was the day after. I contacted Christine and invited her to come and watch other people's matches together. When we finally arrived at the stadium, it was over and nobody told us!
So we drove ourselves to Gadong where we went to Dixy's for dinner. Here comes the shots...

Chris and me ate...

We also played around for a bit...

After that, we came up with a plan to meet up with the other fencers to chillax since it was a Saturday night. I mean, it's the teens' traditioanal thing to do. Hang out every weekend, making Gadong the most jammed place ever.
So we called up Ka Jay and Ka Neena and drafted the plan. At first we wanted to watch the horror Malaysian movie, Susuk, but changed our minds and decided to hang out at Azim's place since he was released from army camp (or whatever you call it).
Here are the pictures for that night...

After we arrived at Azim's place, there were also a bit of a slight change of plans as we at first planned to watch Long Khong 2, a Thai horror movie--the first was horrific (in a good way) so we wanted to know how the sequel was--but, we ended up watching Don't Mess With The Zohan, which was HILLARIOUS, i tell you. Watch it.
Mirul and Fizah arrived late and we were in the midst of watching the comedy so i didn't get to take a snapshot of theirs.
Since most of the guys are gonna compete really early the next day, we left early to rest and be mentally and physically fit.
BTW, i'm just gonna take a short break and update some more later. It's raining heavily here in Gadong and i'm in the mood for sentimentalness.
TBC...
regards,
ace.
