Trippin Around

Hey people

So what's the plan?

Well mine have been really packed and time is obviously not on my side as Lellz always reminded me. I was planning to finish the updates before i go off to Thailand but unfortunately only time will tell.

This post is all about the activity that we had after the fencing tourney. Forgot to mention actually that Brunei invited 4 fencers from Indonesia to participate in the competition. Being friendly and all, the fencing seniors (Bg Yunus, Bg Yahyu, Ka Jay etc) planned to show them around Brunei.

Below are the pics that we took together in conjunction to the trip. Sad to say that the Bruneians (namely me) are more like fish out of water than the Indonesians.

Around Gadong...

I didn't really take much pictures of the Indonesian fencers cos we were just being selfish and too vain. Speaking of which, after taking a few pics, i realised that my Camel tee didn't really make me look good so i went to the nearest tee shop and bought a new one.

Here it is.

The next place was to Masjid Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien where me and the rest prayed the Maghrib prayer and the ladies waited outside. After that, pictures were taken obviously.

This laptop seems to always bother me with problems. Or is it the connection here? Whatever it is, i have to postpone the update. Got loads to tell, seriously.

But until then,

En Garde, Allez

Hey people!

How are you guys doing?

See those hot shots up there, safe to say the Fencing saga has still yet to finish as there is a hell lot more to post and tell. This post is all about the day where all the action and fun was. I had to wake up early just to make sure i warm myself up before playing.

This is my warm-up with Ka Neena.

Well apparantly Ka Jay hadn't eaten breakfast yet.

Just to make sure i look okay before the announcer calls up my name.
The duel starts.

This is where all the equipments are stored.

Unfortunately i was eliminated in the quarter finals as i was up against Bg Yunus, the number 1 fencer in Brunei. But it was an honor to duel him. He is my inspiration still, even though i don't play a lot these days.

Here are some nice photos of the fencers duelling. BTW, sorry for mot paying much attention to the details as to who vs who, i lost track of it. Hehe. Hope it's no too late to apologize..

Here are the exxxtra shots that we had while resting. It's crazy fun and quite entertaining.

Till then,

Messing With The Zohan

Hey people!

How you doin?

The last two days were so hectic and fun, not to mention tiring! I'm chillaxing at Cheezbox now, trying to figure out on what to type and update this lonely blog of mine. Haven't really been telling people about it. NVM.

So, last Friday 9th, i bought a Sony Cybershot camera for the trip to Thailand and to take pictures for my blog. So you wouldn't get bored of just reading bulls**t and crappy English. Haha.

Speaking of which, i finally got something to share with you people. This is gonna be a long one but hey, just enjoy. Updating starts now:

On the 9th (Friday), besides buying a new camera the last minute, me and my friend Misse, went to Charcoal to attend the celebration dinner party that we organized in regards to all our hard work and extravagant performance during our company's Sports Olympics Dinner night. Too bad i don't have pictures to share with you guys. But it's okay as it was kinda confidential.

All in all, i had a ball.

Now, moving on to a closer date, the last two days (the day after the 9th) was also kinda enjoyable as i came in contact with my fencing friends after being too busy with my other life (which is work, work, work). I started with Ka Jay texting me about this fencing tourney in regards to His Majesty's birthday. She asked me if i was available to participate. Since i was, why not?

The tourney began on Saturday and i was still in bed. Thank goodness my match was the day after. I contacted Christine and invited her to come and watch other people's matches together. When we finally arrived at the stadium, it was over and nobody told us!

So we drove ourselves to Gadong where we went to Dixy's for dinner. Here comes the shots...

Chris and me ate...

We also played around for a bit...

After that, we came up with a plan to meet up with the other fencers to chillax since it was a Saturday night. I mean, it's the teens' traditioanal thing to do. Hang out every weekend, making Gadong the most jammed place ever.

So we called up Ka Jay and Ka Neena and drafted the plan. At first we wanted to watch the horror Malaysian movie, Susuk, but changed our minds and decided to hang out at Azim's place since he was released from army camp (or whatever you call it).

Here are the pictures for that night...

After we arrived at Azim's place, there were also a bit of a slight change of plans as we at first planned to watch Long Khong 2, a Thai horror movie--the first was horrific (in a good way) so we wanted to know how the sequel was--but, we ended up watching Don't Mess With The Zohan, which was HILLARIOUS, i tell you. Watch it.

Mirul and Fizah arrived late and we were in the midst of watching the comedy so i didn't get to take a snapshot of theirs.

Since most of the guys are gonna compete really early the next day, we left early to rest and be mentally and physically fit.

BTW, i'm just gonna take a short break and update some more later. It's raining heavily here in Gadong and i'm in the mood for sentimentalness.

Welcome to the Club

Hey there dear bloggers.
Ace have arrived and he's expecting a grand welcome. Please be informed that Ace have a sly sense of humour so those who take him seriously, just f**k off. He likes to speak his mind and piss people off like s**t.
Okay let's be a little bit more polite. That was a rough one. Just wanna make sure I stay in your puny little hearts and be the talk of the town. The inspiration mainly comes from the JOKER from Batman: The Dark Knight as the infamous quote goes: "Why so serious?!"
FYI, as I am compositioning this blog of mine, me and Andrew are chillaxing at Taurean at the Arch, discussing about what type of camera I should buy for me to take to my highly anticipated trip to Thailand this 13th. Rest assured, the intro will be continued soon, as I am rushing to leave and buy some DVDs at Unitek (also known as Communist by most Bruneians).
BTW, I also bumped onto a fellow blogger here who will be reavealed soon. All i can say is that her blog is in my list of 'Most-Read-Blogs'. She's also the nephew of my one of my 'good' friend. Nevertheless, do not worry, all will be told sooner or later, decorated with gorgeous pictures for
your viewing pleasure-not to mention-criticise as well.
Think that's all for tonight. Have a nice night and may you dream of all things good.
